It is centered on the \u201cHOW\u201d of unraveling the \u201cSURVIVAL KNOT\u201d of couples. I will be working in-vivo with a couple in a fishbowl setting.<\/p>\n<p>On November 12-16, 2017, I launched this training in France. I am now bringing it to South Africa, 15 -19 August 2018 in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p>From my experience of many years as a Couples Therapist in my \u201ccouples laboratory,\u201d and from my evolution of Encounter-centered Couples Therapy (EcCT), came an original and transformational method for \u201cdissolving\u201d the core issue of a couple.<\/p>\n<p>I call the method \u201cUNRAVELING THE SURVIVAL KNOT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Participants will witness as I guide one couple, step-by-step, through an intensive journey, into the most treacherous territory of their relationship. I will guide the couple into their \u201cimpasse issue,\u201d the \u201ctoughest neighborhood\u201d of their relationship, where one person\u2019s anguished desperation meets the other person\u2019s dogged resistance, and vice versa.
